Women's Outdoor T&F sets 4 new PR's at Lee University Invite

Georgetown kicked off the outdoor Track & Field season on Saturday at the Lee University Invitational. The Tigers had limited numbers in competition but did set 4 new personal bests on the day.

The first came in the 100m as Dannie Bruce ran in a time of 13.82 seconds and placed 20th in the standings. Bruce also ran the 200m, finishing in a time of 27.56 to place 20th.

Madison Raines set a new PR in the 400m event with a time of 1:13.96.

In the 5K, Georgetown had 2 new PR's as Liza Pollio lowered her best with a time of 19:37.49. Shelby Shepard also ran her best in the event with a time of 21:52.43.

The Tigers next head to Lindsey Wilson to participate in the Raider Rumble on Friday, March 28th.
