Reese Speed named MSC Defender of the Week

Reese Speed has been named the Mid-South Conference Volleyball Defender of the Week, as announced by conference officials on Monday.

In 5 matches this past week, Speed tallied 96 digs while averaging 4.57 digs per set. The highlight came in the match against Cottey, where she recorded 27 digs.

It is the first career weekly honor for Speed.

Georgetown next plays on Tuesday night against Lindsey Wilson. First serve at Davis-Reid Alumni Gym is set for 7:00pm.
