Speed named MSC Defender of the Week for 2nd time

Reese Speed has been named the Mid-South Conference Women's Volleyball Defender of the Week, as announced by conference officials on Monday.

Speed tallied 38 digs in a 5-set loss to Bethel last Thursday and 21 digs in the Tigers' thrilling 5-set win at Freed-Hardeman on Saturday.

It marks the 2nd time this season she has won the award. She and the rest of the Tiger underclassmen will honor 5 seniors tonight for the final home game of the season against Asbury. Senior Night starts at 6:30pm at Davis-Reid Alumni Gym.
