Bruce, Speed lead MSC Honors

Gareth Bruce and Reese Speed have earned MSC All-Conference Honors, as announced by Mid-South Conference officials on Wednesday.

Bruce was named 1st Team All-Conference after leading the Tigers with 278 kills, more than twice the amount of any other Tiger. The total was good for 9th best in the conference. Her average of 3.31 kills per set was good for 4th best in the MSC. Bruce also averaged 3.9 points per set, which was 2nd best in the conference.

Speed earned 2nd Team All-Conference Honors. As the Tigers' libero all season, she finished with 375 digs, 5th most in the MSC. Her 4.31 digs per set placed her 3rd among all qualified student-athletes in the conference. She also received 746 serves during the season, 20 more than any other player.

The Tigers also had 8 student-athletes named to the Academic All-Conference list. To qualify, student-athletes must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale. The following Tigers earned the honor:
