Geary leads Women's XC at Angel Mounds Invite

Georgetown Women's Cross Country ran against a loaded field of NCAA schools on Friday at the Angel Mounds Invitational 6K event, in Evansville, IN. Out of 15 complete teams, the Tigers were 1 of just 3 NAIA groups in the field. Georgetown finished 13th in the team standings.

Kirsten Geary led the way for the Tigers with a time of 22:42, good for 27th out of 168 runners. Eden Brumer was next home for the Tigers with a 25:51, followed by Lexus Ralph's 27:04. Liz Martin and Kirstin Thomas ran 30:09.6 & 30:09.7, respectively to finish inside the top 100.

The Tigers will next head to the NAIA Great Lakes Invitational, in Grand Rapids, MI on Saturday, October 21st. The event also serves as the final tuneup before the Mid-South Conference Championships in early November.
