Women's XC places 4th at Queen City Invite

Georgetown Cross Country began a new era on Friday night. With Head Coach Camryn Snapp at the helm for the first time, the Tigers began the 2024 season at Northern Kentucky University in the Queen City Invitational.

The Tiger women placed 4th out of 6 full teams in the field on a sweltering night in Highland Heights. The young team placed all 5 runners between 16th and 34th place in the field. Freshman Liza Pollio led the way with a time of 20:52 to place 16th. Rebecca Kainer was next in 27th at 21:50. Shelby Shepard followed in 29th with a time of 21:58. Grace White and Lexi Ralph finished 31st and 34th with respective times of 22:21 and 24:26.

The team will now take extended time to prepare for its next meet, the Midway Invite, on Friday September 20th at Midway.
