Thompson named MSC Defensive Player of the Week

Daysia Thompson has been named the Mid-South Conference Defensive Player of the Week, as announced by conference officials on Monday.

The Tiger keeper from Cincinnati, OH, recorded 4 saves in leading the Tigers' defense in a 4-0 win over Freed-Hardeman on Senior Night.

She will pace the back line this week as Georgetown travels to Lindsey Wilson on Wednesday night with a scheduled kickoff of 6:00pm.
